About Sri Etteluthu Perumal Ghosalai

Sri Etteluthu Perumal Gaushala is a replica of Gokulam. It is focused on providing shelter, food, and other generous services to protect indigenous cows and nurture them with great care and love. The gaushala ushers the splendor of Lord Krishna and his dear cows and calves by providing all the facilities that adhere to the welfare of the cows and calves. Gau Samrakshanam or cow protection is a significant part of our Gaushalas.

Established in the year 2004, the Gaushala is home to 900+ cows. The devotees and pilgrims to the temple are also welcome to offer their prayers and worship the Gaumatas and seek their blessings. Cows are the symbol of divine bounty and are an integral part of the temple. Therefore, we give utmost importance to the overall welfare of these cows.
